Texting and Driving
Texting and driving has become an international epidemic in our society. As people become more dependent on their phones the dangers of cell phone abuse while driving increases. The teenagers of today's generation have grown up with cellphones and feel comfortable with them. This comfortable feeling allows teens to feel a sense of confidence to text and drive. Many teens are unaware of the dangers of texting and driving, while most teens agree drunk driving is dangerous they do not have the same view on texting and driving. Multiple studies have shown that texting and driving causes a driver to be more impaired than drunk driving. Our campaign is trying to change this perspective by showing that texting and driving is the same as driving blindfolded.
